Songwriters society
Songwriters soc is a group that comes together to write songs about the serious, funny and mundane things in life. We aim to write a new song every week. Generally we set a theme for the week, split the group up into smaller sub groups of around 5 and then offer people the opportunity to perform what they’ve made at the end of the session. This is a great opportunity for early performance experience and for getting constructive feedback in a supportive environment. We also offer a range of public performance opportunities including regular trips to local open mics and showcase performances throughout each term. Weekly sessions Monday AMATA studio K 7pm. Open mics and performances tbc.
